Kathleen Hale

May 5, 1946 — July 15, 2021

Kathleen M. "Kathy" Hale, nee Burke, age 75, passed away peacefully on July 15, 2021.

"Kathy" was born May 5, 1946 to Late Patricia Eileen Walsh and Late Michael John Burke. She was the beloved wife of Late James Hale which she adored dearly. She was the cherished Mother of Melinda (Dave) Gage-Putnam and Jeffrey Jon-Paul Gage. Sister of Eileen Burke-Olson. Beloved Grandmother of Brittany Gonzalez (Christian), Ashley, David, Kaiden and Lillian. She was also a devoted friend and Mother figure to Sharon Griffith. Kathy was known to most as Momma "K" which my children started calling her the day they met her. Kathy is also survived by her nieces and nephews that she adored. Dog mommy to her beloved "Lady" which was her best friend.

Kathy loved the Lord and had a lot of friends she worshipped with. Kathy lived life to the fullest and was always the life of the party. She loved to laugh and make others smile.

The family would like to thank the Hospice nursing staff at Palos Hospital. They fell in love with her from the first day she arrived and took care of her as she was their own family.

Kathy will be missed by so many.

In lieu of flowers, donations to the Parkinson's Foundation would be appreciated in Memory Of James Hale, or Autism Awareness.

A Celebration of Life gathering for Kathy will be held on Saturday, July 24, 2021 from 11AM-4PM at the home of Melinda & Dave Putnam, 14000 S. Kostner Ave. Crestwood, IL 60418 (708-789-4067)

Interment private at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
