Mrs. June Liddle

June Rose Liddle passed away peacefully on February 7, 2022. June was preceded in death by her beloved husband George Liddle Sr. She leaves behind son George Jr. (partner Janet), daughter Sandra, granddaughter Nicole (husband Steve), grandson Justin (mother Linda), brother James Hood and many nieces and nephews. June was born June 19,1937 to Josephine and Charles Hood. She was blessed with a long, full life overflowing with friends and centered around the family she created with husband George Liddle Sr., whom she married June 22, 1956. The couple built a business, Liddle’s Auto and Marine Repair, which they successfully ran for over 35 years. June pursued many hobbies, including golf, travel, bowling and even fishing with her husband. While June and George are both dearly missed, their family knows they have been joyfully re-united. Often referred to as Junie or June Bug, she was sweet, generous, and truly enjoyed life. Her beautiful smile and contagious laugh are already missed. Services to be held Saturday February 12th at Maher Funeral Home 17101 South 71st Ave. Tinley Park, IL 60477. Visitation to begin at 10am, followed by prayer and tributes at 11. Prayers will conclude at the Chapel at Good Shepherd Cemetery, with luncheon to follow. Entombment private. In lieu of flowers the family requests a donation in June’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
