Judith Kamp

Judith A. Kamp, nee Schurman, age 83, beloved wife for 59 years to the late Peter W. Kamp (2019). Loving mother of Steve (Amy) Kamp, Paul (Nancy) Kamp, Ellen Kamp and Jim (Unsoo) Kamp. Cherished grandmother of Nicole, Rebekah, and Ashura; Madison, Angela, and Anthony. Dearest great-grandmother of Austyn. Preceded in death by her sisters Everdean Laninga, Ethel Bruinius, Marian Donkerbrook and her brother John Schurman. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Judy graduated from Chicago Christian High School and Calvin College. She was a preschool teacher for many years at Palos Heights Christian Reformed Church. Judy generously gave of her time to her family, friends and many Christian organizations.

Visitation Friday, December 10, 2021 from 3-8 PM at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Graveside Service Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. at Chapel Hill Gardens South, 11333 S. Central Ave., Oak Lawn, IL. (We will meet in the cemetery parking lot.) A Celebration of Life Service will follow the Graveside Service at Palos Heights Christian Reformed Church, 7059 W. 127th St., Palos Heights, IL on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. A live-stream of the service will be available.
