Juanita Wiersema

Juanita Claire Wiersema, nee Buehler, age 85, passed away April 16, 2024. She was the beloved wife for 64 years to the late John Sidney Wiersema (2020). Loving mother of Gail (Dave) Meekma, Michael (Lisa) Wiersema and Kelly (Steve) Richman. Cherished grandmother of Jennifer (Dan) Yerks, Jeffrey (Jennifer) Meekma, Joshua Meekma, Matthew (Alexis) Wiersema, John Mark (Michelle) Wiersema, Michael (Ruth) Wiersema, Noelle Wiersema, Joseph Wiersema, Destiny Wiersema, Kacey (Dave) Austin, Cameron (Jessi) Richman, Trey Richman and Heidi Richman. Dearest great-grandmother of Hunter, Riley, Peyton, Andrew, Emily, Charlee and Everett. Dear sister of Judi (Mike) Salkas, the late Jeannine Serafino and the late Joanne Spizzirri. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Devoted daughter of the late Edward and Adelaide (nee Lewis) Buehler.

Juanita was a homemaker that loved spending time with her kids and grandkids. She was involved in many women's ministries and also loved to travel.

Visitation Saturday, May 4, 2024 at Anchor Church Palos, 6600 W. 127th St., Palos Heights, IL from 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Service 12:30 p.m. A live-stream of the service will be available.
