Josephine Marie (Gioiosa) Solimeno

Josephine M. Solimeno (nee Gioiosa), 89, late of Tinley Park. Beloved daughter of her late parents Donato and Theresa (nee Ciadella). Cherished wife of the late Roberto. Devoted mother of Robert (Trisha) and Linda (Noe) Rodriguez. Loving sister of the late David. Dearest grandmother of Alicia, Leticia, Jessica, Melissa, Michael, David (Michelle),Thomas, Andrew, Olivia and Tanner. Dearest great-grandmother of 7. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews. Josephine was a true blessing to everyone she met. She was an excellent chef of homemade Italian dishes and loved to cook for her family. She was a loving grandmother, a big fan of John Wayne movies, Elvis and a true devotee of the Hallmark Channel. Visitation Friday 4-8pm the Maher Funeral Home, 17101 71st Ave. Tinley Park. Funeral Saturday, prayers at the funeral home at 9:15 processing to St. George Church for a 10am Mass. Interment Holy Sepulchre.
