Mr. Joseph Lynch

Mr. Joseph N. Lynch, 87, at home. Beloved son of Edward and Mary (nee O'Neill). Cherished husband of Patricia (nee Reaume). Devoted father of; Maureen (David) Thamm, Richard (Vickie), and Thomas (Sandi). Loving brother of; the late Kathleen (late Frank), Margaret and Edward Jr. Dearest grandfather of 9.  Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.  Devoted friend to many.

Joseph attained a Master of Science Degree and worked as an engineer for Republic Steel for many years.  In his retirement, he enjoyed playing golf.  A man of sincere happiness, he loved his family deeply and was active with his grandchildren, always being interested in their activities and proud of their accomplishments. He always saw the "half-full" aspect of life, and looked for and found the good in everybody and everything. He would talk to everyone he met, and as such, was a proud Irishman. He cherished his broad array of family pictures, and will be deeply missed. He spent spare time tutoring students, and whomever he taught was blessed with not only his knowledge of the engineering profession, but wisdom and encouragement.

VISITATION Saturday, May 3rd, 10:00 am at St. Mary Catholic Church, 19515 115th Ave. Mokena. FUNERAL Saturday immediately following visitation. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00.  Interment Good Shepherd Cemetery, Orland Park. In lieu of flowers, donations in Joseph's name to Mercy Home For Boys and Girls appreciated.
