Joseph R. Leo, age 95, WWII US Navy Veteran, beloved husband for 58 years to the late Wilma Leo, nee Walstra (2010). Loving father of Kathleen (Kent) Zigterman, Joseph W., and the late Donna (John) Dillman. Cherished grandfather of John Zigterman, Lisa (David) Buursma, Wendy (Brad) Brummel, Mark (Jorie) Dillman, and Timothy Dillman. Dearest great-grandfather of Joel, Silas, and Joshua Dillman; Aiden, Mabel, and Paxton Brummel; Hannah and Carson Buursma. Dear brother of Donald, and the late Frank, Harold, and Robert.

Retired supervisor for Illinois Bell with 43 years of service.

Lying in State Thursday, October 28, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. at Palos Heights Christian Reformed Church, 7059 W. 127th St., Palos Heights, IL.
