Beloved husband of Barbara Baniewicz (nee O'Rourke) for 68 years.

Loving father of Robert (Maureen), William, Rita (Ernie) Luri, Renee (Paul) Fredericksen, Mary (Dave) Przybyla, the late Sue Murphy (Mike Kahn), Tom (Karen), Joanne (Chuck) Bella and Jim (Molly) Baniewicz.

Cherished grandfather and great grandfather of many.

Dear brother of Chris O'Brien, Veronica Siwek, Frank (Jeannie), Steve and Ray Baniewicz.

Fond uncle to many.

Visitation Thursday 3-8pm Funeral Friday 9:30am from the Maher Funeral Home 17101 S. 71st Ave. (1 block east of Harlem on 171st St. in the Olde Tinley Library) to St George Church for Mass at 10:00am.

Interment and Full Military Honors Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.
