John F. Oswald, age 73, beloved husband of Bonnie Lee, nee Horn. Loving father of Brenda (David) Jahny-Miller, John Oswald and the late Brandy Ann Oswald-Kowalczyk. Cherished grandfather of Tyler Jahny, Corey Oswald, Sierra Oswald, Addison Miller and Elena Miller. Dearest great-grandpa of Beau Jahny; Greyson and Kingston Oswald. Dear brother of Richard Oswald and Barbara (late Carl) Spiotto. Fond uncle of Scott, Lisa and Carl Jr.

John was a kind-hearted individual who always lent a helping hand to those in need. He generously volunteered his time at The Church of Jesus Christ Food Pantry in Valparaiso, making a difference in the lives of many. His kindness and selflessness will be remembered and cherished by all who knew him. He will be deeply missed.

Visitation Friday, July 25, 2025, from 10:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Cremation Private.
