John W. Meiszner, M.D.

John W. Meiszner, M.D., a dedicated Psychiatrist, compassionate mentor and beloved father and grandfather, passed away on April 6, 2026 at the age of 79.

He devoted his life to helping others, both through his work in psychiatry and his deep commitment to the AA community, where he guided and supported countless individuals on their path to recovery. His kindness, wisdom and steady presence left a lasting impact on all who had the privilege of knowing him.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Marilyn, his son Frankie and his granddaughter Mia.

He is survived by his loving sons, Christian (Trish) Meiszner, John (Jeri) Meiszner, Bill (Deanne) Meiszner; and his cherished grandchildren Billy and Morgan. Also survived by his faithful, four-legged companion Buddy.

He also leaves behind many extended family members and friends who will deeply miss his guidance and compassion.

Dr. John W. Meiszner will be remembered for his generosity, his unwavering dedication to helping others and the profound difference he made in so many lives.
