John Maslar

John E. Maslar, age 81, U.S. Army Veteran. Beloved husband for 58 years to Eleanor E. Maslar (Wygonski). Loved son of the late John P. and Frances Maslar and son-in-law of the late Bruno and Frances Wygonski. Treasured father and role model of Debra (Kevin) Smith and John A. Maslar. Cherished grandfather of Kennedy and Konner Smith. Loved brother-in-law of John (Mary Cynar) Wygonski, Joanne (Gerald) Bronzell and the late Tony (late Gloria) Wygonski. Dear uncle, cousin and friend to many. John was a true jack of all trades, avid gardener, fisherman and talented hobbyist who will be remembered and missed by all.

A Memorial Service will take place on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at 11 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church, 14700 S. 94th Avenue, Orland Park, IL 60462. All are invited to join us in a celebration of John's life and a luncheon immediately following the service in Ledogar Hall of the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorials in John's name to Christ Lutheran Church in support of their community services and programs are appreciated.
