John Maheras, age 79, U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran, passed away on June 23, 2026. Devoted son of the late Andrew and Christina Maheras. Loving brother of Andrea (late Donald) Cora, Katherine (late John) Walker, Christine (Clifford) Dillon, Sandra Maheras and preceded in death by Ethel (late Daniel) Bedunah, Marlene Maheras, Mary (late Edward) Cloyd, Harry (Theresa) Maheras, Leo (late Sheila) Maheras, Georgia (Charles) Kuchinski and Helen Maheras. Dearest uncle and great-uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Private service and burial with Military Honors at Evergreen Cemetery, Evergreen Park, IL.
