John J. Hoffman

John J. Hoffman, 63, late of Tinley Park, formerly of Chicago.  Beloved son of his late parents, Eugene and Bernice (nee McCormack) Hoffman.  Cherished husband of Phyllis (nee Keating).  Devoted father of; Jennifer (Shelby) Hodde, Jillian (Philip) Walters, John (Emily) and Hayley (Patrick Sofer) Hoffman.  Loving brother of; the late Mike (Sandy) Hoffman, Genne (Norb) Urbanski, the late Dan (Tina) Hoffman, Marty (Cheryl) Hoffman, Teri (Kurt) Deckelman, the late Joyce (Bob) Wiltzius, the late Mark (Linda) Hoffman and Matt (Kelly) Hoffman.  Dearest grandfather of; Emerson, Raegan, Caden, Zachary and Jackson.  Special grandpaw to Millie and Kane.  Dearest brother-in-law to the Keating-Shedor Families.  Fond uncle to many nieces and nephews.  Dear friend to many.  John was an avid golfer, sci-fi movie enthusiast, and practical jokester.  Visitation Tuesday, November 1st, 3-8pm.  Funeral Wednesday, chapel prayers at 9:15 at the funeral home processing to St. George Catholic Church for a 10:00am Mass of Christian Burial.  Interment Holy Sepulchre.  In lieu of flowers, memorials to the American Heart Association graciously appreciated.
