John Eliacostas

John Eliacostas 87 of Alsip, formerly of Kasos Greece, passed away Wednesday morning August 21st, 2019 surrounded by his family. Beloved and devoted husband of Martha nee Samargin for over 61 years. Devoted and loving father of the late Anna Eliacostas, Irene Eliacostas (Thomas) Plahm, George (Angela) Eliacostas, and Dean (Jennifer) Eliacostas. Greatest papou of Yanni (Kristin) Eliacostas, Ana (Tyler) Green, Lexa, Samuel, Grace, and Joshua Eliacostas. Great papou of John Tyler and Cole Green and Penelope Eliacostas. Cherished son of the late George and Anna Eliacostas and brother to the late Minas Eliacostas. Loving Theo of many nieces and nephews in Greece as well as the United States. Visitation will be Sunday August 25th from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at The Maher Funeral Home 17101 71st Avenue Tinley park Illinois 60477. Trisagion service will be held at 6:30 PM. Friends and family are asked to meet Monday morning at St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church 12307 South Ridgeland Avenue Palos Heights Illinois 60463 at 9:45 AM for the 10:00 AM funeral service. Interment to take place at Evergreen Cemetery Evergreen Park Illinois. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church.
