John Bishir

John O. Bishir, age 84, beloved husband for 62 years to Eve, nee Dorn. Loving father of Shanda (Barry) Voorn and Shane (Cat) Bishir. Cherished grandfather of Madison, Matthew, Ryan, Adam Stuursma; and Eleanora Bishir. Dear brother of Roy (Joanne) Bishir and preceded in death by his five siblings Barbara (late Reynold) Siemsen, Craig (Joyce) Bishir, David (Janet) Bishir, Nancy (Don) Steele, and Richard Bishir. Fond brother-in-law of Ollie (Candi) Dorn and Jack (Sally) Dorn. Dearest uncle of many nieces and nephews.

John was a lifelong sports enthusiast who found joy in both playing and watching every sport. He never missed a sporting event featuring his grandchildren, proudly cheering them on from the sidelines. John was passionate about fishing and golfing, finding joy in both activities. He cherished his fishing trips up north in Canada.

Visitation Sunday, September 29, 2024 from 2:00-7:00PM with a Funeral Service to follow at 7:00PM at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Burial private at Fairmount-Willow Hills Memorial Park, Willow Springs, IL.
