Joan W. Hanson, nee Wolcott, age 86, beloved wife of the late George Hanson. Loving mother of Sandra (Robert) Kucharski, James (Lori) Weir and Claudia (Richard) Hesslau. Cherished grandmother of Robert, Elizabeth, Jonathan (Allison) and Matthew Kucharski; Ryan and Brandon Hesslau and Amber (Chris) Schnepp. Dearest great-grandmother of Thomas Jonathan. Dear sister of Claude (late Dorothy) Wolcott and the late Jane (Edward) Oldis. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Retired counseling secretary at Richards High School. Active member at Oak Lawn United Methodist Church and Faith United Methodist Church for many years.
Visitation Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Faith United Methodist Church, 15101 S. 80th Ave., Orland Park, IL 60462 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. Interment Chapel Hill Gardens South, Oak Lawn, IL.
