Joan Cizmas

Joan R. Cizmas, nee DeMuzzio, age 88, beloved wife for 62 years to the late George G. Cizmas (2023). Loving mother of Dannielle (Jeff) Cunningham and Denise (Gary Swiercz) Sexton. Proud grandmother of Derek (Katie) Sexton and Nicolas (Angela) Sexton. Dearest great-grandmother of Mackenzie Sexton, Brooklyn Sexton and Milena Maugeri. Dear sister of Louis (late Bev) DeMuzzio, David (RoseAnn) DeMuzzio and Donna Marie Prabel. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Joan was an avid sports fan. She enjoyed playing golf and was a fan of the Chicago White Sox, Chicago Bears and the Detroit Lions. Joan spent many years as a fine jewelry salesperson. She also had a keen eye for interior decorating. Joan will be dearly missed by her family.

Visitation Tuesday, March 11, 2025 from 3-8 p.m. Funeral Service Wednesday, March 12, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Entombment Good Shepherd Cemetery, Orland Park, IL.
