Jeffrey S. “J.D.” Dampf, age 70, beloved husband of Roseann “Rose”, nee Passo. Loving father of Paul (Jillian) Antonelli and Jesse Dampf. Cherished grandfather of Olivia and Dylan. Devoted son of the late Joseph B. and Sally Dampf. Dear brother of Joseph W. (Mary) Dampf. Fond uncle of Elizabeth (Herman) Ruiz and Joshua (Laura) Dampf.

JD was a friend to many and someone who had a way of making people feel like they mattered. He was the kind of person who never thought twice about helping someone in need, whether it was a helping hand, a listening ear, or simply being there when someone needed a friend. His generosity and caring nature left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. JD valued the people in his life and the friendships he made, and he will be deeply missed by the many friends and loved ones who were fortunate enough to know him.

Visitation Thursday, August 13, 2026 from 2-5 p.m. with a Memorial Service to follow at 5:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL.
