Jeannette Meyer

Jeannette D. Meyer, nee Wilkinson, age 90, passed away peacefully on June 9, 2022 surrounded by family. Wife for 72 years of the late Edward Meyer, Sr., beloved mother of William (Gale), Edward Jr. (Luann), Debra (William) Davids, Patti (Kurt) Giesler, and the late Christopher. Also surviving are 23 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Daughter of the late William Wesley and Elsie Mae (nee Doherty) Wilkinson.

Jeannette was a dedicated member of the Palos Heights Women's Club for 55 years, serving as President from 1990 to 1992, during which time the Club raised enough funds for the construction of the Gazebo located in Memorial Park. She loved gardening, gourmet cooking, synchronized swimming, golf, tennis, and spending time with family and friends. Jeannette is also survived by her sisters, June Edmier and Donna Lee Malek, and predeceased by her brother William Wesley Wilkinson II.

Visitation and Funeral Service Saturday, June 18, 2022 at Palos Heights Christian Reformed Church, 7059 W. 127th St., Palos Heights, IL with a Visitation starting at 9:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. and a Service to celebrate Jeannette's life to follow at 11:00 a.m. A live-stream of the Funeral Service will be available.
