Jeanette, known to her family and friends as "Tootie", was a woman whose life centered around her love of children. She especially enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids. She was a wonderful cook and we enjoyed many family dinners, often followed by singing around the table. In addition to always being involved and busy with her own family (no small task!), she volunteered at St. Coletta's (rocking babies in their care), the Bible League, and Bibles for Missions Thrift Store. Her interests included creating fun activities, making hand painted porcelain dolls for all the grandchildren (and extras) and baking many treats. She will be remembered for her strong faith and involvement with many organizations in their church of many years, her gift of hospitality to family and many friends, and her sense of humor.
A Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at Calvary Church, 16100 S. 104th Ave., Orland Park, IL at 1:00 p.m. with a luncheon to follow at the church.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Bible League International, 1 Bible League Plaza, Crete, IL 60417 or Mercy Ships, P.O. Box 1930, Garden Valley, TX 75771 would be appreciated. To donate online, please visit the links below.
