Jean Wiening

Jean E. Wiening, nee Kraus, age 88 of Orland Park, beloved wife of the late Richard Wiening, passed away February 12, 2025 with her sister by her side.
She was preceded in death by her husband Richard Wiening, her parents Daniel and Susannah (Fulz) Kraus, her sisters and brother-in-laws, Dorthea and Martin Nienhouse, Elsie and Howard Linz, and Joseph Cryan. Her nephews Colonel Terry Nienhouse and Timothy Nienhouse.
She is survived by a sister, Ruth Cryan and nephews Roger Nienhouse, Ronald (Cheryl) Linz, Joseph (Mary) Cryan and Edward (Amy) Cryan. She is also survived by several great-nieces and nephews as well as several great-great-nieces and nephews.
Jean was born in New Castle, Pa. She spent most of her life in Chicago and the south suburbs. She worked for Marquette Bank for the majority of her adult life.
Jean loved her family and friends. They will miss her smile and laughter.
A private memorial service for the family will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025. Interment Chapel Hill Gardens South Cemetery, Oak Lawn, IL.
