Janet E. Spinato

Janet Elizabeth Spinato of Orland Park, IL passed away on June 26th, 2026. She will be remembered for her kindness, selflessness, encouraging nature, and unconditional love.

Born on June 14th, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois to Marvin and Hannah Post, Janet lived a life of devotion to her family. She graduated from Fenger High School in Chicago in 1965.

She survived a brain aneurysm in 1998. We are deeply thankful for the additional years she spent as a blessing to her grandchildren.

She enjoyed cooking and baking, often sharing what she made with others–including medical staff–as a token of her gratitude.

She is survived by her husband Michael; her three children Christian, Sara, and Benjamin; by her eleven grandchildren; and her two sisters, Judy and Barbara.
