Janet A. Slanger, age 52, suddenly went to be with her Lord on December 13, 2016. Beloved daughter of Eleanor (Leonard) Pocius and the late Garreth Slanger. Loving sister of Robert (Elsa) Slanger, Mary Slanger, Linda (Dan) Presler, Debbie (Al) Petrauskas, Leonard Jr.(Margie) Pocius, and the late Jeanne Slanger. Cherished aunt and great aunt of many nieces and nephews. Dearest niece, cousin, and friend of many. Dedicated special education teacher at Kirby School District 140.

Visitation Friday, December 23, 2016, 4:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service to follow at 7:00 p.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave., (155thWheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL.
