James P. Thomas

James P. Thomas, 81, late of Tinley Park.  Beloved son of his late parents, William and Theresa (nee Pawolski).  Preceded in death by his siblings Richard, Dorothy, Betty and Nancy.  Loving brother of Karen (the late James) Harter.  Fond uncle of 8.  James was a very kind soul who never hesitated to help anyone in need.  He was very down-to-Earth and family-oriented.   His mother passed when he was only 12, and he was proud to have become the "big brother" of the family.  He was an avid Cubs fan, enjoyed attending Chicago Wolves games, and enjoyed being outdoors and nature.  Memorials to St. Jude appreciated.  Memorial service Saturday, April 1st, 1:00-3:00pm.  Pastor Jamie Deuser officiating.  Interment private.
