James Sakola

James E. "Jim" Sakola, age 59, Active Chicago Police Officer with Area 3 Technology Center, passed away suddenly on March 26, 2022. Beloved husband for 21 years to Katherine Stack. Devoted son of the late Ronald and Frances (nee Beluschek) Sakola. Loving brother of Jon Sakola. Dear brother-in-law of Greg Stack, Connie (Ron) Beversdorf, Kristen Tullia and the late Art Stack and the late Roman Stack. Dearest uncle of many nieces and nephews. Dear friend of many. Jim will also be missed by his faithful canine companion Josy.

Visitation Friday, May 6, 2022 from 3-8 p.m. Memorial Service Saturday, May 7, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL.

Interment Resurrection Cemetery, Justice, IL.
