James V. "Jim" Pfister, age 85, U.S. Army Veteran. Beloved husband of the late Joan R. Pfister, nee Kopping (2010). Loving father of Jim W. Pfister and Joy (Steve) Hooper. Cherished grandfather of Sarah (Mike) Farns, Rachel (fiancé Bradley St. Leger) Pfister, Michael Pfister, Daniel Bohnstengel, Lucas (Jeanette) Pfister, Megan Pfister and Kasey Pfister. Dearest great-grandfather of Michael, Conor and Colton. Dear brother of the late Richard and the late Arthur. Fond brother-in-law of Cheryl (Gerald) Griffin and the late William Kopping. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Visitation Sunday, October 4, 2020 from 2-7 p.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Lying in State Monday, October 5, 2020 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 6850 W. 159th St., Tinley Park, IL from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service 11:00 a.m. To uphold safety guidelines, all guests are asked to wear a mask and respect social distancing requirements.

Interment private Bethania Cemetery, Justice, IL.
