James Mcallister

James J. McAllister, age 84, at rest suddenly and peacefully, beloved husband for 59 years to Gerry, nee Grelak. Loving father of Karen (Art) Hoeller, Joe (Charlene) McAllister and Christine (Devin) Pendas. Cherished grandfather of Grace, Margaret, Olivia and Owen. Dear brother of Marge (late Jack) Hettwer and the late Robert (late Gisele) McAllister, the late Kay (late Bill) Orr and the late Jack McAllister. Fond brother-in-law of Robert (Robertha) Grelak and the late Adeline (late Chuck) Risoya. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews.

James was a retired pharmacist with 35 years of dedicated service. He was long-time member of Saint Michael's golf league and was a familiar face as an usher for many years. James found joy in working in his yard, traveling to new places, and, most importantly, spending time with his family and friends.

Visitation Tuesday, April 22, 2025, from 3-8 p.m. Funeral Wednesday, April 23, 2025, 10:15 a.m. from Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL to St. Michael Church, 14327 Highland Ave., Orland Park, IL. Mass 11:00 a.m. Interment private at Good Shepherd Cemetery, Orland Park, IL.
