James A. Bridges, Sr., age 88 beloved husband for 57 years to the late Diana A. Bridges, nee Anderson (2020). Loving father of Judy Bridges-Green, James Bridges Jr., and Susan (Robert) Pattock. Cherished grandfather of William (Trisha) Green, Daniel (Amanda) Green, Connor Madden, Alexandra Drobny, and Matthew Drobny. Proud great-grandfather of Amber, Danny, Emilia, Rocky, and Lucas Green. Dear brother of the late Leo Bridges, Ione Bridges-Chapman, AC Bridges, George Bridges, and Ron Bridges. Dearest uncle of Barb (Dave) Whitis, Carolyn (Matt) Ronco, Greg (Caroline) Felten, Michael (Kimberly) Felten, and Lorrie (Roger) Cummings. Fond brother-in-law of Linda (late Charles) Carlson.

Jim was a proud grandfather, devoted husband, father, brother, and uncle. Jim loved his family and was always known as "Big Jim". He was a carpenter that took great pride in building his own home and could fix anything.

Visitation Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service 11:30 a.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Interment Orland Memorial Park Cemetery.
