Jacob A. "Jack" Venhuizen, age 97, WWII US Navy Veteran, beloved husband for 75 1/2 years to Jeanette "Jean" Venhuizen, nee Janke. Loving father of Linda (late Phillip) Campbell, Bonnie (Kenneth) Brink, Wendy (Randy) Harkema, Sue (Bob) Eames, and Alan Venhuizen. Cherished grandfather of Jon Koniarski and Andrea Koniarski; Kevin (Linda) Brink and Danielle Brink; Rick (Michelle) Harkema, Heidi (Peter) Boender and Kyle (Becca) Harkema; Justin Eames and Meghan Eames; Holly Tyler and Austin (Juli) Venhuizen. Dearest great grandfather of 14, two of whom have preceded him in death. Dear great-great grandfather of one. Fond brother of Florence (Fred) Huizinga, William (Linda) Venhuizen, the late Adriana Venhuizen, the late Wilma (late Whitey) Schoonveld, and the late Helen Steenwyk. Dear brother-in-law of John (late Connie) Janke, the late Doris (late Wilbur) Slager, the late Rudy (late Nola) Janke, and the late Rev. David (Johanna) Janke. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Visitation Friday, June 6, 2025 from 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Service 10:00 a.m. at Colonial Chapel 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL.
