Jacob R. "Jake" Gorter, age 90, WWII US Navy Veteran, beloved wife of Alice L. nee Veldman. Loving father of Shirley (Jerry) Vos, Nancy Koedyker, Cindy (David) Groenendal and Barbara (Jerry) Pond. Cherished grandfather of 13 and great-grandfather of eight. Dear brother of Helen Stalman, Kenneth (Sonok) Gorter, and the late Henry Gorter, Anna Jean (David) Ridderhoff, Ralph Gorter, Gertrude Van Huis, Ronald Gorter and Arnold Gorter. Loving Uncle of many nieces and nephews.
