Mr. Isaac B. Myrickes Sr., 61, veteran U.S. Navy, USS Guadalcanal, late of Hazel Crest, after an illness.  Beloved son of the late Henry and the late Julia Myrickes. Cherished husband of Vanessa Myrickes. Devoted father of; Jason, Ebonee and Isaac Jr. Loving brother of; James, Alma, Ruth (Charles) Chapman, and the late Joseph and the late Hezekiah (Linda).  Dearest grandfather of; JaeAngelo, Muhammad, Nakayla, Curtis, Nariyah, Isaac III, Allah and Milan.  Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.  Friend to many.  Retired USPS letter carrier Oak Park, IL. "NEITHER RAIN NOR SNOW NOR HEAT NOR GLOOM OF NIGHT SHALL STAY THESE COURIERS FROM THE SWIFT COMPLETION OF THEIR APPOINTED ROUNDS."  Fondly remembered by the residents of Oak Park, a petition drive was held by John. Q. Public to maintain his longtime route.  Visitations Friday, June 3rd, from 10am-12pm. followed by an interment service at 1:30pm at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, Il. with full military honors afforded.
