Howard D. Kooima, age 57, beloved husband for 30 years to Nancy, nee Basse. Loving brother of Ronald Kooima and Karen Kooima. Devoted son of the late Ann (nee Nyland) and Lewis Kooima. Dear son-in-law of Fred and Judy (nee Martin) Basse. Dearest brother-in-law of Fred Basse, Ellen (Phillip) Caputo, Michael (Jennifer) Basse and Linda (Michael) Bartholomew. Dearest uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Howard was an auto mechanic for Tinley Park Public Works.
