Hermine C. Cannon nee Grabenhofer, 99. Beloved wife and best friend of the late Thomas F. Cannon (2005) for over 60 wonderful years. Dear daughter of the late Tobias and Hermina (nee Pfiff) Grabenhofer. Much loved Mom to Cindy (Paul) Childers, Tom (Debbie) Cannon, and the late Craig (the late Debra) Cannon. Dearest Nana to Tommy Cannon and Kristen (fiancé Jim Snyder) Cannon. Loving Great Nana to her favorite little girls Madison and Hailee Snyder. Loving sister to the late Fred (the late Loretta) Grabenhofer. Two legged Great Nana to her grand-dogs Tara and Vinny Childers and Buster Cannon. Godmother and Loving Aunt to Darlene (Russ) Habel and the late Fred (the late Sharon) Grabenhofer. Dear aunt to Roy "Butch" (MaryLou) DiNovo, Joyce and Joe DiNovo, Phyllis (Stan) Kruszynski and Jack (Nancy Schuldt) Winkleblack. "Aunt Herm" is also survived by many special nieces, nephews, as well as great and great-great nieces and nephews. Fond sister-in-law of the late Joseph (the late Muriel) Cannon, the late Harry (the late Gerry) Cannon, the late James (the late Evelyn) Cannon, the late Geraldine (the late Roy) DiNovo, the late Margaret (the late Dale) Winkleblack, the late Robert (the late Marie) Cannon, the late William (Peggy) Cannon, and the late Jackie Cannon.
Our Mom, Nana, Aunt Herm, "Hermie" was the rock of our family throughout the many ups and downs in our lives. She touched the lives of those she met, made lasting friends throughout her lifetime especially her partner in crime/forever lifelong friend the late Rose Pratscher (Childers). We find comfort in knowing our Mom is with our Dad, our little brother "Craigie," "Aunt Rose" and that one day we will all be together again.
Visitation Thursday, November 21, 2024 from 3-8PM at Colonial Chapel 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Additional Visitation on Friday, November 22, 2024 at All Saints Lutheran Church, 13350 S. LaGrange Rd., Orland Park, IL 60462 from 10:00AM until time of Funeral Service 11:00AM. Interment Evergreen Cemetery, Evergreen Park, IL.
