Henry "Bernie" Slager, age 81, US Army Korean War Veteran, beloved husband for 58 years to Betty, nee Voss. Loving father of Beth (Stephen) Figlewicz, Brian (Carol) Slager and Barb (Dave) Johnson. Cherished grandfather of Adam (Hannah), Joshua (Krista), Matt, Scott (Danielle), Ami (Joshua), Stephanie (Darrell), and twins Kyle and Luke. Dearest great-grandfather of ten. Fond brother of William (Anita) Slager. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Bernie loved working on cars and was an avid fisherman. Visitation Tuesday, June 30, 2015 from 4:00 PM until time of Funeral Service 8:00 PM at Colonial Chapel 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL.
