Helen M. Zimmerman, nee Muckian, age 90, passed away January 31, 2021. Beloved wife of the late Daniel "DJ" Zimmerman. Loving mother of Diane Kotovsky, Daniel (Sheri Crawford) Zimmerman, Carol (Patrick III) McGrath, Mary Lynn (Mark) Kircher, and Jon (Heather) Zimmerman. Cherished grandmother of Jami (Matt) Schwager, Trevor McGrath, Daniel (Christine) Zimmerman, PJ (Julie) McGrath, Brian Zimmerman, Molly Kircher (Campbell Smith), Annie McGrath, Kelley (Chase) Mitchell, Mark (Cassie) Kircher, Lindsay Kotovsky, Amanda (Adam) Frazier, Colleen (Josh) Stull, Max Kircher, Jonathan Zimmerman, and Jordan Zimmerman. Dearest great-grandmother of Ethan Schwager, Hailey Zimmerman, Harrison Zimmerman, Liam McGrath, Patrick McGrath V, Grace McGrath, Moira McGrath, Olivia Frazier, Leo Mitchell, and Mark Henry Kircher. Dear sister of the late Patricia Muckian, the late Marilyn (Robert ) Deveraux, the late William (Maureen) Muckian, and the late John (late Mary Jo) Muckian. Dearest aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Helen was an office manager from 1965-1998 at St. Columba Parish in the Hegewisch neighborhood of Chicago before moving to Tinley Park.

Family and friends are invited to meet directly at St. Stephen Deacon & Martyr Church, 17500 S. 84th Ave., Tinley Park, IL on Saturday, October 23, 2021 for a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip, IL.

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Joliet Area Community Hospice, Dementia Society of America, or Catholic Charities are appreciated.
