Helen Thomas

Helen Josephine Thomas, nee Wasicak, age 96, passed away on Monday, July 3, 2023. She is survived by her daughter Darleen McGinnis, son Daniel (Kathy) Thomas and daughter Diann (Bob) Wilbur. She was a grandmother to seven grandchildren--the late Shaun McGinnis (2020), Kevin McGinnis, Michael Thomas, April (Brian) Runft and Kyle (Kim) Thomas; Dustin (Courtney) Wilbur and Devan Wilbur. She was also the great-grandmother to Owen Wilbur and Theodore Thomas. Helen was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Charles Thomas on March 3, 2014. She was also preceded in death by her sisters Mary (late Ed) Rach, Anna (late Henry) Babiarz and Dolores (late John) Haydek and her brother James (late Sylvia) Wasicak.

Helen enjoyed reading, sewing, writing letters and thank you cards, listening to her polish music on her record player, looking out the window at her flowers and watching the birds at her bird feeder.

Cremation rites have been accorded and a private family service will be held.
