Helen Novak

Helen M. Novak, nee Schuldt, age 86, beloved wife to the late Arthur Novak (2002). Loving mother of Thomas (Debbie), Robert (Beth), and Bruce (Erika). Cherished grandmother of Terry, Andrew (Sara), Wade (Tara), Rebekah, Jonathan and the late Steven. Dearest great-grandmother of Wyatt. Much loved sister of Irene Petefish and the late Alvin Schuldt, Betty Mulderink and Elaine Cooper. Treasured aunt of many nieces and nephews.

A lifelong resident of the Orland Park area, Helen cultivated lasting friendships, golf partners, bowling teammates and club girlfriends. A member of Trinity Lutheran Church who was Supreme Hostess of Sunday Donut Day. Helen was a winner of Scrabble, solver of puzzles and a die-hard Cubs fan--she occasionally watched the Sox during rain delays.

Visitation Sunday, September 18, 2022 from 2-6 p.m. at Colonial Chapel 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (Wheeler Dr./155th & Harlem) Orland Park. Lying in State Monday, September 19, 2022 at Trinity Ev. Lutheran Church, 6850 W. 159th St., Tinley Park, IL 60477 from 10:00AM until time of the Funeral Service 11:00AM. Interment Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.
