Helen L. Eenigenburg, nee Teninga, age 96, beloved wife of the late Joseph H. Eenigenburg, Jr. (1995). Loving mother of Elton “Joe” (Shirley) Eenigenburg, Jill Eenigenburg (Kurt) Kosty, and Robert (Diane) Eenigenburg. Cherished grandmother of Karen Eenigenburg, Angela (Daniel) Germeraad, Susanna (Kyle) Zirkle, John Eenigenburg, great-grandmother of Austen, Maxwell and numerous other grandchildren and great-grandchildren by marriage. Fond sister of the late Adelaide Teninga (2006). While Helen’s greatest satisfaction was in being a loving wife and mother, she had a successful career early in life at a manufacturing company during WWII, at Pullman Standard, and for many years as bookkeeper for her husband’s roofing business. As a long-time member of Bethany Reformed Church, she sang in the choir. Helen may be most fondly remembered for so generously giving her time to care for numerous elderly family members over the years. Helen had a beautiful, loving spirit and a cheerful disposition and optimistic outlook until the very end. She will be greatly missed.
