Hazel Benson

Hazel K. Benson, nee Kleberg, age 90, passed away peacefully at her home on March 1, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Allen J. Benson (1987). Loving mother of Wayne (Deborah) Benson, John (Peggy) Benson and Barbara (Joe) Engel. Cherished grandmother of Jaime (Gerry) Lau, Jeff Benson, Kevin Benson, and Amanda Engel. Dearest great-grandmother of Madison Lau. Dear sister of the late Oscar Kleberg.

Hazel was one of a kind who was loved by everyone she touched. Her focus was never on herself, it was on family and friends. Her smile will be missed but her positive spirit and her ever-present gratitude will never be forgotten.

Family will receive relatives and friends on Saturday, March 10, 2018 at Parkview Christian Church 14367 W. 159th St., Homer Glen, IL from 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 11:00 a.m.
