Harriet Van Vuren

Harriet A. Van Vuren, nee Klaassens, age 86, passed away peacefully from her husband Don's arms into her Savior's arms on January 1, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. Beloved wife of 66 years to Donald R. Van Vuren. Loving mother of John (Rosanne), Donna (Don) Rietveld (the late Raymond Fuller), Calvin (Patty), Karen (John "Butch") Borgman and Janice (Leonard) Schmidt. Cherished grandmother of Matthew, Dennis (Dana), Kelli (Jason), Tim (Jenny), Sam (Tracey), Ken (Hilary), Angie (Jason), Dan (Jenny), Rachel (Josh), Sarah, Alicia (Cameron), Maria (Bob), Evonne (Zac), David (Montana) and Brandon. Dearest great-grandmother of 46, one of whom preceded her in death. Dear sister of Rosalynd (Richard) Loerop and the late Lawrence (Elizabeth) Klaassens. Loved aunt of many nieces and nephews.

In her later years, Harriet became a caregiver for disabled adults at Bethshan Association.

Visitation Thursday, January 4, 2018, 3-8 p.m. at Colonial Chapel 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Visitation continues Friday, January 5, 2018 at Immanuel Christian Reformed Church, 83rd St. & Normandy, Burbank, IL 60459 from 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral Service 10:30 a.m.

Interment Chapel Hill Gardens South.
