Harriet C. Van Groningen, nee Stuitje, age 93, beloved wife for 64 years to the late Rev. Dr. Gerard "George" Van Groningen (2014). Loving mother of Betty (Herman) Westendorp, Rev. Jerry (Sherri), Jay (Laura), John (Patti), Rev. Dr. Willis “Bill” (Connie), Beverly (Bob) Jonkman, Dave (Dawn) and Dr. Chuck (Laura). Cherished grandmother of 34. Dearest great-grandmother of 45. Fond sister of the late Betty Potter, Sadie, Jack Stuitje, and Frank Stuitje. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Mom's was a well-lived life; with resilience and creativity, she exemplified a life of gracious hospitality.
Her warmth, gentle spirit and genuine empathy were a blessing to her family, friends and acquaintances.
With a quiet, hidden strength and a strong faith she left a treasured legacy.
