Harold Boonstra

Harold T. Boonstra, age 97, longtime Chicago area resident, originally from Sioux County, IA. WWII U.S. Army Air Corps Veteran. Beloved husband for 65 years to the late Ann Boonstra, nee Weidenaar (2012). Loving father of Richard (Trena) Boonstra, Jacqueline Archer, and Janet (Donald) Kosmal. Cherished grandfather of nine. Dearest great-grandfather of 15. Dear brother of Mary Ellen Mouw, Rudy Boonstra and the late Robert Boonstra, Norman Boonstra and Lois Vogel.

Harold was a choral director for over 40 years at various churches. Retired chemist from Sherwin-Williams.

Visitation Sunday, December 16, 2018 from 3-7 p.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave., (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Memorial Service Monday, December 17, 2018, 11:00 a.m. at Hope Christian Reformed Church, 5825 W. 151st St., Oak Forest, IL. Interment private at Chapel Hill Gardens South, Oak Lawn, IL.
