Gloria Ann Sumers, nee Spadoni, age 90, cherished mother of Linda Sumers and Dave Sumers. Beloved daughter of the late Umberto and Maria (nee Piccoli) Spadoni. Preceded in death by her siblings Eugene (late Mary) Spadoni, George (late Virginia) Spadoni, William (late Julie) Spadoni and Lillian Slomkowski. Dear aunt of many nieces and nephews.
Gloria enjoyed entertaining and was a wonderful cook and baker. She also loved sweets--especially chocolate. Gloria liked to travel and spend time at the casinos playing the slot machines. She was an animal lover as well. Gloria lived her life for her family and friends and will be dearly missed.
Visitation Saturday, October 7, 2023 at St. Gerald Church, 9310 S. 55th Court, Oak Lawn, IL from 9:00 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass 10:00 a.m. Interment Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Alsip, IL.
