Beloved wife of Daniel "Buck" McCarthy for 61 years.

Loving mother of Daniel (Pamela) McCarthy, Julia (Ralph) Wigboldy, Karen (Scott) Ruckman, and Joseph (Sheri) McCarthy.

Cherished grandmother of Tabitha Heil, Shawn McCarthy, Brandon Wigboldy, Breanna Ryan, Samuel Ruckman, Collin McCarthy, Grace Ruckman, Joseph McCarthy, Emma McCarthy and great grandmother of James Heil, Aubrey Heil, Mia McCarthy, Meghan McCarthy, Irelynn Heil, Courtney McCarthy, Evelyn Ryan, Isla Ryan, Myles Wigboldy, and Bennett Ryan. Dear daughter of the late Lambert Vinke and Elizabeth Vinke (nee Krygsheld).

Dear sister of Bertus "Butch" Vinke, Flora Fritz, Elizabeth "Betty" Fritz and the late Elsie Medema, Jessie Vinke, Cornelius "Casey" Vinke, John Vinke, Gertrude Parker, Henry "Hank" Vinke. Fond aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Gerry was the happiest when she was cooking or baking for a Sunday dinner with her family that she loved.

Visitation Thursday, May 2nd, 3-8pm. Internment Friday 1:00pm at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood.  Funeral attendees kindly asked to meet at the cemetery for the Committal Service.
