Gerald Grady

Gerald R. "Gerry" Grady, age 76, beloved husband for 50 years to the late Barbara Ann Grady, nee Sayre (2023). Loving father of Kevin (Erin) Grady, Ryan (Lauren) Grady and Kerry (fiancé Luis Luna) Grady. Cherished grandfather of Jaclyn, Madison, Liam, Benjamin and Jack. Dear brother of JoAnne Schroeter, Daniel (Debbie) Grady, John (Janis) Grady and Terry (Jill) Grady. Dear brother-in-law of Reid (Ann) Sayre, Jeanne (Michael) DeMart, Eddie (Cathy) Sayre, and the late Bill (Judy) Sayre, Jay Sayre, Jack (Barbara) Sayre and Roger (Terri) Sayre. Fond uncle of many nieces and nephews.

Gerry was proud to be a member of the 3rd graduating class from St. Laurence High School in Burbank, IL. He was an avid supporter of the White Sox and a dedicated fan of the University of Illinois football and basketball teams, often enjoying their marching band performances. Above all, Gerry cherished the time spent with his beloved grandchildren, whose happiness and well-being brought him great joy.

Visitation Thursday, May 15, 2025 from 3-8 p.m. Funeral Friday, May 16, 2025, 9:00 a.m. from Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL to St. George Church, 6707 W. 175th St., Tinley Park, IL. Mass 10:00 a.m. Interment private.
