George Hoekstra, age 93, WWII U.S. Army Veteran. Beloved husband for 59 years to the late Fredericka “Frieda” Hoekstra, nee Pels (2007). Loving father of William (Linda) and George R. (Lynda). Cherished grandfather of Brian (Candace), Carrie (Mike) Derkacy, Kyle (Christi) and Chad. Dearest great-grandfather of 7. Preceded in death by his brother Sam and his sisters Gertrude Bruinius and Alice Buikema. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews.
