George W. Ferenzi

Mr. George William Ferenzi, age 73, late of Mokena. Beloved husband of the late Dawn C. (nee Martino). George was preceded in death by his parents, Dr. George W. and Mary A. (nee Gilberto) Ferenzi.  George is survived by his loving family, children Michael Ferenzi, Kristen (Paul) Rentner, grandchildren, McKenna Rentner and Grace Ferenzi. Dear brother of James C. Ferenzi M.D., Michael J. Ferenzi and John Ferenzi. He will  mostly be remembered for his love of family, especially his granddaughters McKenna and Grace. He graduated from DePaul University, attended Loyola University and Lewis Law School. He was a licensed CPA and had many clients over the years. He loved all kinds of music, from the 1950's, 60's, 70's and 80's. He was a big fan of Dean Martin and Johnny Cash. George was a passionate sports fan, attending many games in person, and closely following his White Sox, Black Hawks and Green Bay Packers through thick and thin. He was thrilled to see all three of his teams win world championships. The family has requested a private viewing only. George will be laid to rest at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Justice. Attendees welcome for an 11:00 am crypt side service at the cemetery.
