Gary S. Westerman, age 67, U.S. Army 82nd Airborne Division Vietnam Veteran, passed away suddenly on August 2, 2017. Beloved husband for 44 years to Rene, nee Rimovsky. Loving father of Tammy (Elmer) Contreras, Terry (Rosa) Westerman, Josh (Angie) Westerman, Crystal (Tom) McDonald, Nanette (John) Fanning and Tricia Westerman. Cherished grandfather of 16. Dearest great-grandfather of three.
Gary will be missed by his loving Christ Community Church family where in addition to being a long-time member, he enjoyed being a custodian for the past two years.
Visitation Friday, August 11, 2017 from 3-9 p.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. A Service to Celebrate his life will be held at Christ Community Church, 13400 Bell Road, Lemont, IL 60439 on Saturday, August 12, 2017 at 11:00 a.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to Christ Community Church are appreciated.
