Frederick K. "Keith" Rasmussen, age 87, retired U.S. Air Force Veteran. Beloved husband for 63 years to Gail F., nee Surprenant. Loving father of Debbie (Gary) Mattson, Patty (Sean Minogue) Hottinger, Tracy (Rich) McDonald and the late Brian Rasmussen. Proud grandpa of Michael, Stephanie, Dave, Michelle "Micky", Nick, Mike, Ashley, Jennifer, and Patrick Henry. Cherished great-grandpa of 13, and great-great-grandpa of one. Dear brother of the late Lorraine, Janet, and Marjorie. Uncle of many nieces and nephews.
After 20 years in the USAF Air Intelligence, two tours of duty in Europe, and many stateside bases, Keith moved back to Chicago, where he spent another 20 years as a carpenter. He always cherished time spent with his family going camping, boating, water skiing, and many other activities.
Visitation Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 3-8 p.m. at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler Dr. & Harlem) Orland Park, IL. Interment Private at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
