Frederick Hirsch

Frederick James Hirsch, age 85, passed away peacefully in hospice care on March 12, 2025. He was the loving husband of the late Judy Hirsch with whom he shared 49 wonderful years of marriage.

Fred was a devoted Christian and loving father to Barbara (Paul), James (Gina), and Thomas (Melissa). He was a proud grandfather to seven grandchildren and two great grandsons.

A lifelong classic car enthusiast, Fred loved Corvettes and enjoyed attending car shows. He collected Lionel trains as a hobby and could always be found tinkering with gadgets. He will be remembered for his dry sense of humor which brought smiles to family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a brief service at 6:30 PM at Colonial Chapel, 15525 S. 73rd Ave. (155th/Wheeler & Harlem) Orland Park, IL 60462. Burial private at Fairmount-Willow Hills Memorial Park, Willow Springs, IL.
